Dress Code
Class attire can be purchased at Collective Motion Arts Center. Teacher approval is required before purchasing Demi-Pointe or Pointe shoes. Proper dance attire must be worn during all classes which helps our faculty when support a dancers proper placement and alignment.
Dance With Me, On My Own, All Styles
Female Presenting: Any color leotard with black leggings or shorts.
Male Presenting: Any color plain t-shirt with black pants or shorts (not baggy).
All dancers: Bare feet or Ballet Shoes. (Note: All Styles will also need Tap shoes.)
Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Demi-Pointe, Pointe
Female Presenting: Any color leotard, Ballet skirt (optional), with pink tights and pink Ballet shoes. Â
Male Presenting: Any color plain t-shirt with black pants or shorts (not baggy) and black Ballet shoes.
Tap
Female Presenting: Any color leotard with black leggings or shorts.
Male Presenting: Any color plain t-shirt with black pants or shorts. (No jeans).
All dancers: Black Tap shoes.
Jazz & Musical Theater
Female Presenting: Any color leotard with black leggings, shorts or tights.
Male Presenting: Any color plain t-shirt with black pants or shorts. (No jeans).
All dancers: Black Jazz shoes.
Modern
Female Presenting: Any color leotard with black leggings or shorts.
Male Presenting: Any color plain t-shirt with black pants or shorts. (No jeans).
All dancers: Bare feet.
Hip Hop
All dancers: Non-restrictive clothing (No jeans).
All dancers: black sneakers only worn to class. No street shoes.
Hair
All long hair should be pulled back for all classes. For Ballet classes, please wear your hair in a Ballet bun.
